Alright, you've read about some very tiny stuff in our lives here.
Now what you don't know is how Alison is trying to make Caroline a singing sensation.

In this purple section we will post some stuff about how Caroline is trying to advance her career as a singer, like pictures, songs, and maybe even videos.  I, Alison, cannot promise anything right now, and we may start a new section, but remember to check back here for possible media.

I am starting guitar soon! I hope to use that skill to play the music for Caroline's song. 
I just got my guitar! Oh my gosh, I just can't wait to start lessons tomorrow! I will try to post a pic of my beautiful guitar!

 Anyway, I started guitar today. I play piano, trombone, and sing all the time, but guitar is so much different.

I am seriously missing home right now as I write this post. On Wednesday, I'm Skyping my class at home. Caroline hasn't had much of an interaction with her class since we've been gone. Calvert school seems to be working out for her. Plus she and I might enter the Calvert science fair and the grand prize is a $79 dollar kindle. But we have a kindle fire, so my mom will pay us for the kindle if we win. I think she's missing books.
Gosh, I haven't written on this page lately. I'm really sorry! This weekend has been really relaxing-I haven't left the house at all!:) I hate going out!
Hey, it's Caroline! Mom and I went to the pool and brought back candies for Alison and ME!

There's More Than Traveling

Thank You Grammie for coming up with this!

We will show school, social, and more happening outside traveling.
Plus, someone gave me some questions to answer on this page,(thank you Grandma) so here they are:
Q: What has been most interesting about living in Croatia?
A: That's hard to say. There are plenty of interesting things. I would say the pace in how slow things go is quite interesting and at some times, fun! 
I will put more questions later.

Here's another question: Do you think kids your age are pretty similar or pretty different from kids in the U.S.? 

A: They are pretty much the same, for all I know.



I wanted to add a cute video of Caroline singing "Party Rock Anthem" on an Opatija playground to make up for not posting for a while.

Caroline had Linguae class today. What does she do there? And while I think about that, enjoy the picture collections on the front page.

Not to give away secrets, but we have a special trip in planning....And it involves a bunk bed....

I'm happy to say that Mom and I are starting a new LiveJonural blog(I think) We will write a story made with the Sims 3. I'll be sure to give you the link(if we do do it)

I felt bad about so little posting, so here's some stuff on Calvert school that is from different points of time.

Feb. 8: Math is so hard because I'm not good at fractions! But reading and stuff is ok. Plus Greta and I talk

Feb. 25 Just took my big test. Whew! Now I can move on!

March 12: Working on a lot of US capitals. I'm reading "Sing Down the Moon" for school. Kinda boring.

March 20: Spelling test! This one was hard! In writing I'm writing a book for amazon!

March 28: Math is so much easier because I'm in geometry! As for history, well lots of stuff on slavery. 

April 7: Finished "Sing down the moon"!

April 26: Not as much school since Grammie came. YAY!

I just looked at how many people still look at this page, so I thought I might update it! 

Hi Everyone!  I'm already back in the United States.  I'm not positive if I'm going to keep posting on this page, but I hope you enjoyed this page as much as I enjoyed writing it!  Do exactly what I did: go back and look at everything on this page.  

For the last thing on this page, I'm going to tell you the story of how we put the Caroline&Alison page together.  

It was a day in mid-February, and I was sort of bored as usual.  After all, I had no friends but really had no desire to meet any.  I was checking out our blog that my Mom and I had created.  I realized that though there was a lot on our trips, you really couldn't see some of the funny and normal things that happened in our lives.  I decided to kind of script out what Caroline and I were saying, and I did enjoy that.  I'm so happy that I created this page because now everybody can see what normal life was like for us in Croatia.
