    1. Things are good. We had friends over last night for dinner. We went to the market on Saturday and got lots of fruits and veggies at outdoor stands.

  7. Hi Alison!

We have lots of questions but we'll start with these.

    - Do many people in Croatia speak and/or understand English?
    - How is your Croatian coming?
    - How are your guitar lessons? It's so cool that you're getting to do this IN CROATIA!!

It's such fun to get to do this with you!! : )

    Love,
    Grandma and Grandpa

    1. Hi,

Some do understand English, but not everyone.
Our Croatian skills are limited, but we bought dictionary books to help. My guitar lessons are so much fun! It is so nice to be playing an instrument again.
Grandma, I hope you are feeling better.

    1. WOW. That must be a switch from winter in Potsdam, huh? It's only been in the 50s in California. (Okay, today it's supposed to be in the 70s, but that's not typical!)

Have things been blooming there since it's so warm?
